Joel Rekiel and myself at The Muddy Buck in Evergreen
I don’t think any successful person can ever say that they achieved greatness all on their own. No one person has all the skills and know how to make their dreams a reality. I know for a fact I don’t. I lack the patience to research every avenue to further my career. I lack the knowledge of how to create a fantastic website. I lack the experience to really produce my songs the way you hear them on the album. I lack the connections and contacts to book myself into various venues as well. I am so very blessed to have people, well I would say behind me, but I feel they are my partners, working by my side to help create an Amy Kress that will go places.
Joel Rekiel has been instrumental (pardon the pun) in creating most of what you see. My Amy Kress website design is second to none. His dedication to finding venues and photographers and directors and interviews has been tireless. He is always available to answer questions or discuss ideas. I feel that without him I would still be playing music to my dog and kids in my living room.
It takes a team to do great things and when you find people that know what they are doing and have your back at every turn magic happens. I am so very fortunate to have Joel working with me. Thank you Joel for all that you do. And happy birthday buddy! It’s good to see you smiling. 🙂
